Our school trip

We had a fantastic school trip to St. Michael’s and all angels church in Wigan. We found out all about the Church of England’s Christian faith. We looked around the beautiful church and even spotted some hidden features, like the Rugby balls and the mermaid. We said some special prayers and we got to try on Reverend Stan’s special robes. We even took part in a Christening. We had so much fun!

Making our Joseph coat

Our Year 4 Christian value is forgiveness. We learnt all about the Biblical story of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour dream coat. Joseph had to be very forgiving to his brothers. We sewed our own technicolour dream coat and we acted out parts of the story.

Geography skills

We have been working hard on our map skills in our Geography lessons and learning all about America.

Remembrance Day

This year marked a very special Remembrance Day. We created a whole school Poppy memorial, which reminds us of Flanders field.

World Diabetes Day

To raise money for Diabetes awareness, we came into school dressed as superheroes! Can you spot your favourite?
We learnt all about Diabetes and we wrote about who our very own personal heroes were.

Our carol concert

We loved learning all the songs for our KS2 Carol concert and spreading the Christmas cheer. In fact, we love singing so much that we even opened the Christmas markets at school with our beautiful singing voices.
